A student from Kooringal High School has been recognised for his leadership and effort with the 2016 Proud and Deadly award.
Tyson Hodge, a 17-year-old representative rugby league forward, was presented with the award at Wagga Commercial Club on Tuesday. Despite his large stature, Tyson was described as friendly and hard-working by staff at the school. The award came as a surprise to Tyson, but it was also a great honour.
It’s great to be recognised, I’m very proud.
Tyson wishes for future students to get a good education in a good community environment. He wishes for them to feel welcome, happy and proud at school.
